  1. Using an emulator -
  2.  
  3. The .ADF files on the CD may be used directly with an Amiga emulator
  4. on a Windows or McIntosh based computer.
  5.  
  6. Using a real Amiga -
  7.  
  8. In the same drawer which contains this file, there is a drawer called
  9. "ADFBLITZ", a contraction (to accomodate MS-DOS) of the actual name -
  10. "ADF-BLITZER".Place this drawer in a convenient location on your
  11. harddrive - perhaps "TOOLS" or "UTILITIES" in the "SYS" partition.

  13. The "ADFBLITZ" drawer contains a program of the same name and a text file.
  14. Read the text file for information on using this program to make actual
  15. Amiga disks from the .ADF files or to make .ADF files of Amiga disks.

  17. Additional explanation -
  18.  
  19. To extract an .ADF file onto a real Amiga disk -
  20.  
  21. Place a blank disk in drive df0:
  22. Click on the "WRITE" button of the "ADFBLITZ" program.
  23. Click on "VOLUMES" to select the location of the .ADF file.
  24.  -if the file is in adrawer click on the drawer then on the file itself
  25.   else just click on the file name.
  26. Click on "OK".

  28. The actual disk will be generated in about 40 seconds.

  31. To make an .ADF file from an actual disk -
  32.  
  33. Place the disk in drive df0:
  34. Click on the "READ" button of the "ADFBLITZ" program.
  35. Click on "VOLUMES" to select where the .ADF file will be placed.
  36. Against "FILE" type the name to be used for the .ADF file.
  37. Click on "OK".

  39. The .ADF file will be generated in abourt 40 seconds.
